Seymone Moodley, Founder and CEO
Seymone is a journalist, producer, speaker and guest lecturer on the subjects of digital marketing and entrepreneurship. She has years of experience as a journalist at the British Broadcast Corporation, CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa and Forbes Woman Africa magazine.
During her time at CNBC Africa and Forbes Magazine, she was a nominee at the Sanlam Excellence in Financial Journalism Awards for her investigative aviation print story and her gamification television story.
When her experience in research, content writing and storytelling met her curiosity for digital technology and social media marketing, Seymone started her new journey as a digital marketer where she found ways to use journalistic practices in marketing to achieve business KPIs.
Seymone is qualified with a BA Journalism degree and accredited digital marketing certificates and when she is not in the office she is with her best friend and confidant, Bolt (as can be seen below).
Rebone Masemola, Head of Strategy
Tedx Speaker, Rebone Masemola is a digital and cultural strategist passionate about Afro-Feminism (gender and sexuality politics) and brings conscious thinking to Malteez Digital that helps our clients better appeal to a more intersectional consumer.
Rebone graduated from Wits University with a Masters’ degree in Anthropology in 2014 and minored in Media Studies and African Literature. Her research focused on the relationship between work and citizenship in South Africa.
Rebone is our head of strategy and her role involves formulating and overseeing strategies, content creation, social media management, reporting and research for our clients.
Phumla Dhlamini, Art Director & Illustrator
After graduating from the AAA school of advertising with a BA in Creative Brand Communications (majoring in Art Direction), she completed a graduate program at FCB Joburg.
During her grad program she worked on live ATL and digital briefs for brands such as Coca-Cola, South African Tourism, Brand SA and more. She also developed an interest in Illustration, Social media and photography.
When she isn’t interpreting South African living into digital arts, she’s a research fanatic who’s interested in digital insights and data analytics.
Rhonwen Harwood, Digital Marketing Apprentice
A marketing graduate who majored in marketing strategy, digital marketing, marketing planning and implementation as well as consumer behaviour.
Graduated with her honours in marketing and management, Rhonwen has completed her thesis on finding a sustainable and cost-effective way for SMEs to position themselves in a competitive marketplace.
She’s worked in both service and product industry and is currently training in social media marketing.
Rhonwen is an exceptional digital marketer in the marking, her ability to practically apply her theory on digital marketing is impressive.
